I live with my partner Louise in the Scottish Borders. The "Family" consists of Louise's son David, and 3 rescued animals: Charlie, a Welsh section A pony; Katie an ex-racing Greyhound and Sooty, the tail-less black cat! I work for English Heritage looking after Warkworth Castle & Hermitage, near Morpeth in Northumberland (Please click on the link to visit the English Heritage Website). My hobbies (apart from working on additions to this website), include music - I have built a small recording studio at home and play Guitar, Synthesizer and Keyboard, just for my own amusement. I have recently completed training and passed an exam that allows me to become a Personal Licence Holder, which means that can apply to sell alcohol at a correctly licensed premises. I also get to sit on a horse occasionally, but I blame Louise for this, as I think she likes to see the pain & suffering I go through to stay on!
This picture of my partner Louise on the Ferry slip, waiting to go to Inchmahome Priory on an island in Lake Monteith, Scotland. It was taken during our holiday to Aberfoyle in April this year. (Yes it is a Lake not a Loch - the only one in Scotland).
We also went pony trekking in the nearby hills and enjoyed a 2 hour cruise along Loch Katrine on the steamer "Sir Walter Scott".
